CLASS A YARD DRIVER
The Yard Driver is responsible for safe and efficient movement of trailers in the yard. May also be required to operate a forklift to move products or shipments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- • Safely backs various size trailers into assigned dock/yard spaces, engages dock locks, and/or chocks, and deploys trailer stands for all trailers spotted to the dock.
- • Parks and organizes trailers within the warehouse yard.
- • Mounting and dismounting yard tractor frequently. Sliding trailer tandems alone.
- • Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard tractor; filling out DVIR.
- • Utilizing YMS or applicable tools to make inbound and outbound trailer movements.
- • Operates forklift to move shipments between trailer movements.
- • Coordinates with office clerk on trailer movements and prioritizes to ensure no down time for warehouse associates.
- • Travels on public highway to obtain fuel or to take to maintenance facility
- • May need to haul to trailer, drop yard, or overflow warehouse
- • Completes all documents required by management.
- • Reports any unsafe conditions, injury, or damage to management.
- • Miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.
COMPENSATION
- • $27.50 per hour
- • Paid every week via direct deposit.

NON-CDL DELIVERY DRIVER
JOB DESCRIPTION
- • Operating a straight truck safely and legally.
- • Maintaining documentation.
- • Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD's)
- • Delivering Samsung products to customer's homes (customer service skills A MUST!!!)
- • Must be professional in delivery of product(s) to home and respect customer's property.
- • Physical work-- loading and unloading Samsung products from appliances to electronics·
- • Multi-stops- several different appliances to deliver including refrigerators.
- • We deliver to all home types such as apartments, townhomes, single-family homes, etc.
- • Newly incorporated power-assist hand trucks which assist in lifting the products
COMPENSATION
- • $20-$27 per hour depending on location
Chattanooga – $20
Chicago – $26.50
Chino – $27
Dallas – $24.18
Denver – $24
Orlando – $20
Portland – $25
- • Paid every week via direct deposit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- • Does not require a CDL
- • Good driving record
- • Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
- • If driver holds a CDL, Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- • Stable employment history
- • Must be able to work with another driver as this is a team driving position
- • Must have customer service/delivery experience
- • Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.

Dedicated Regional Driver (Company & Owner Operator)
DETAILS
- • Dedicated lanes with a combination of OD (Origin/Destination) examples:
- • These are only examples as to what the driver can expect, they are not concrete lanes that will happen every week verbatim to what is below.
- • Knoxville, TN to Keasby or Robbinsville, NJ
- • Knoxville, TN to Allentown, PA
- • Allentown, PA to Windsor, VA
- • Knoxville TN to Windsor, VA / Windsor, VA to Knoxville, TN
- • 99% drop and hook freight, but at times there will be a need to run a brokered load if we have a dedicated load cancel
- • Our trucks do have cameras in them!
- • Home time outlook: Out for 5-6 days, back home on weekend.
- • There is detention pay and layover pay where it is necessary.
FUNCTIONS
- • Operates tractor/trailer equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers to the Vendor's destination.
- • Operates the tractor/trailer to ensure that the product is delivered in a timely manner.
- • Monitors freight for secure devices and straps to ensure products are delivered to their final destination undamaged and in their original condition.
- • Required to follow company policy, participate in required trainings and keep truck clean.
- • Maintains driver's daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required.
- • Responsible for performing a full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor/trailer.
- • Communicates any delivery issues up line to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager
- • Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists who share the highway.
- • Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations and state laws.
- • Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- • Must have CDL-A.
- • Must have 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience.
- • Good driving record.
- • Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.
- • Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.
- • Stable employment history.
- • Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.
- • Must be willing to be out for 5-6 days, back home on weekend.
COMPANY DRIVER COMPENSATION
- • .60 cpm which does not align with Kenco PTO policy
- • .54 cpm with benefits
